Nancy & machete
Nancy with her machete. They’re the multi-tool of choice and people use them for surprisingly delicate tasks. You’re not allowed to carry them in the city in Kenya as you’ll be arrested, unless you are Masai. It is recognised in Kenya law that they are essential for Masai people, so they can carry them anywhere. Nancy (who is small and slim, probably in her 50’s and not Masai) cut down a banana tree in one swipe with hers!
