There is one tank that fills with paid-for water that had been identified as suitable to use for rain water.
It is near the main building, but not directly connected to it.

Connected by a mutual acquaintance in US, I have been corresponding on Facebook with a man from Western Kenya, near Misumu who wanted to know more about rainwater harvesting, David.
He and his sponsor, Cliffe, arrived at KACH to see what we are doing.
They have asked Joy to travel to the children’s home they run and support to help them harvest rain.
Their area has the highest incidence of HIV infection in Africa, partly due to the unwillingness of the people there to use medical doctors. Many of the children at the children’s home run by David are orphaned by HIV AIDS and a high proportion of them are living with HIV infection.
As well as teaching parenting skills, David is a qualified nurse and can diagnose to a certain level and give medication. The children allow him to medicate them but it is a different proposition with a lot of the adults.
