70% of the human body is made up of water.
Experience a 0.5% drop and you feel thirsty.
A 5% drop makes you feel slightlty feverish.
8% and the glands stop producing saliva, the skin turns blue.
After a 10% drop you are unable to walk.
A 12% drop takes you near to death.
With a third of our planet covered with water, why are there places that still have no access to clean water?
Just a couple of months ago, Ethiopians were dying from the worst drought in history.
A few weeks later they were dying from the worst floods in history.
Every day in people’s homes I am involved in the management of their water.
I make sure it’s going where they want it, when they want it to go there.
I make sure it’s heated to the temperatures they want it, at the times they wish it to be at those temperatures.
When it breaks free from its pipes and goes to places it shouldn’t, I take it and re direct it into the places it should be.
This, I do every day.
I will take these skills to places on our Earth, where water is a scarcity,
I will make “Global Water Management” a reality.
I will pass this on as a legacy until the work is done.
I hold this most precious comodity in the highest regard. I respect its forms, its movement, its moods, its strength, its weakness, its feel, and its taste.
In fact, that’s why I decided to be a plumber when I left the highly lucrative teaching career.
I went from high pay to no pay overnight.
From frustration to elation.
Heck, I’m in my element. (I am also a water sign)
It was only a matter of time until I got into my “flow”.
