Everyone attending, women installers, press and sponsors alike, expressed their enjoyment of the event which was very different to the usual plumbing shows. It began with a workshop on Managing Conflict at Work by Jazz Jones from Polypipe and an insightful presentation on Personal Branding by Katie Beesley from SLG. After lunch host Hattie Hasan told her personal story and what it took for her to Make it in a Man’s World, during which as Corine Kujipers from Spirotech tweeted you ‘could hear a pin drop’!

After a short break for cupcakes bearing the sponsors’ branding, delegates and sponsors were free to mingle, giving all attendees an opportunity to meet other women installers, some for the first time. Everyone chatted to the sponsors to discover more about their products and opportunities.
