She enjoys the flexibility of being a self-employed Stopcocks plumber and gas engineer, especially as it means she can be around for her son.

She likes to be able to fix things and work with her hands and especially the kick of happy warm customers.

Christina is an avid motor-racing fan.

She’s keen to bring warmth and hot water to her local community as the Stopcocks Woman Plumber in St Albans and Harpenden.

“I love fixing things, it means I can be a hero and save the day!

When everyone’s boilers froze it was great to be able to get everyone warm again. I was even able to give out free advice to people I met in the park while I was walking the dog! That was a great feeling”
